This is not the start of a Greek porn but an interview with Odyssey's male and female voice actors! The first 5 minutes in Greek but then its in English. Its quite interesting in that voice work nearly took more than year for this game etc. They recorded nearly 4 hours a day etc.

Note that AC Origins has a lootboxes selling NPC, however these lootboxes can be bought only by ingame money.

I did write, but will repeat once again:
- The best weapon in AC Origins can drop only from lootboxes.
- The second best weapon you get by solving quests, you don't need the one above ever.
- Ingame money is better spent on certain items in assassins' headquarters lategame.

I bet Origins' lootboxes were probably planned originally as phonegame scamware but per later decision their impact on the game was nullified while the NPC was kept as a part of the game anyway as he's also Bethesdalike rubbish radiant quests giver. This decision was IMO awsome - lootboxes and grind addicts have a NPC to "adore" without being scammed while others can ignore him completely. Choices.

Yes true but I found that gear in AC Origins wasn't all that important as long as you know how to dodge and get behind an enemy, even crappy blue items will do in normal difficulty. I hear Odyssey will be more of an RPG but I still don't think gear will huge impact...

Recently I found out that you can't use a shield in Odyssey as this is huge shame since you are playing a Spartan and I wanted to use shield/spear with loincloth alas Leonidas from 300 :p

Dodge? It ain't Dark Souls man. Only places you definetly need to avoid something, running will do the trick, are elephants and 3 egyptian gods. Okay, and some arena battles where you can't use own equipment.
I can't remember how many times I actually used classic dodge in Origins outside of the arena. Twice perhaps?

Instead of silly darksouls dodge, equip a nice lifestealing combined with damage over time weapon and start kicking everyone's arse. ;)

If you never played or followed the series, yes, that's what it was most known for i would say. It's very easy though. Climbing a wall is imo too easy, there is no technique or anything to, its not something you can fail at really. I don't think i've ever died from falling to my death for example (in the previous title, didn't play the other ones).

Can you jump in games? Then you can do parkour :) Like vurt says, its very easy but its really really fun thing to do. You can't really fail at it. One of my most favourite thing ever in a game is claiming to the top of the Pyramids in the AC Origins using parkour.

Yes they do. It's "complexity" was already toned down in AC3 and it's pretty much automatic now (hold one key and heroes do whatever is needed on their own).

Yeah and I thank the developer for that as I hated the earlier Assassin's Creed parkour controls. It was to complicated as you had to use different keys to climb and run.

Cmon, I'm the one who can't stand mushrooms schemes yet I had no problems with AC2/Brotherohood/Revelations k+m controls, in fact it felt pretty good. Maybe it's k+m that did the trick? :p

No k+m controls where the problem. You couldn't even re-map them sometimes. It wasn't until Assassin Creed 4 when they decided to streamline how parkour worked.

Now with Origins it's was perfect just hold a key and you climb.

A lot of reviews specified that lootboxes can only be bought with ingame money and was therefore a good thing, or at least acceptable.

But they neglected to mention that pretend money (Helix credits) can be bought with real outgame money (Dollars/Euros, etc.), that can then be spent on ingame money (Drachmas) and you get much more Drachmas that way rather than the money you get from playing the game and looting enemies.

This is true even in AC Origins as well I think but believe me loot is fairly meh in game and in no way a game changer. Plus you will be swimming with more stuff than what to do with. Also most of the stuff they sell were cosmetic skins...

I have no love for micro transactions but I don't think you have to worry about that in this game.

It's a bummer, as I like to vote with the wallet against anything containing microtransations, but I really do fancy some Hellenic hijinks.

Who on earth bought any Helix credit in Origins? For what purpose would that possibly be? Silly looking skins?
If someone really did buy that virtual currency in a singleplayer game… I'd suggest visiting a shrink.

Thats fair enough but AC Origins has the most benign microtransations I have come across. From what I can see, its the same system in Odyssey as well.
