arhn.eu looks at the history of Dink Smallwood.

A short documentary on the rich history of an obscure RPG. Dink Smallwood is 20 years old, and yet its devoted community still creates new stories for the game and shares them via a specially crafted ecosystem. In recent years, a whole generation of gamers, who grew up living out the pig farmer's adventures have rediscovered the title and with that, have rekindled the long forgotten dream of fame and glory.

I can't remember how I came to discover this game but I really enjoyed it. I didn't knew there's an active community doing adventures for it, thanks for this info.

Its a real fun game. I think I tried it out cause I got a free copy for buying PC Powerplay magazine.

Was fun back then. Today? Sorry but I don't want to return to it.

Good indie. I cheated with the map editor to beat the game. Pretty odd final boss.

Finished the game, since reading this article. Amazing fun and MUSTPLAY!! Absolutely recommended! Now I'm playing the best mods for this game. First the sexist SOB for players over 18+
Then the rest - which scored higher than this one. But I always wanted to make a special sex-themed RPG, that's why the interest.

Dink Smallwood is an overlooked gem, IMO. I didn't get to finish it yet because the mobile version lacks proper controller support, but the port is great except for the touchscreen joystick. Might play it on PC someday. Check it out if you like genuinely funny, adventure-types of RPGs…
