Gamebanshee reports that there is another review for Dragon Age Journeys at Casual Gameplay. The reviewer talks about gameplay, content, animation quality, and combat for this Flash RPG. Overall, the reviewer felt that Bioware did more than just make an advertisement for Dragon Age: Origins. They made a fun little RPG:
Journeys isn't a behemoth that's going to require days of your precious time to conquer, but it will easily offer a solid evening's enjoyment for most gamers. Longer if they seek out every item and every achievement. If you're looking for something more involved than most browser RPGs, Dragon Age Journeys easily has enough to keep you occupied, and may just leave you wanting more. Just remember that while the price of healing potions may be painful, not having any when you take a scimitar to the face hurts a lot more. Spend some time in Dragon Age. You just may be glad you did.
More information.

isn't this getting a bit awkward, talking about that commercial rubbish as if it were a game?
what about focusing on quality instead of quantity of (often pointless) newsbits.

among all players of all kinds, rpg players should be the least retarded, so what about ignoring the shitty nonsense instead of treating it as if it were fitting (quite obviously, it is not)?

Awkward for you or for us? I'm aware that you don't like anything related to Dragon Age, but maybe others do. Other comments related to Dragon Age Journeys on this forum indicate that your emotion is not shared at the moment.

What about being open to the possibility that this little free flash game might actually be a bit of fun?

I enjoyed this "commercial rubbish" as you call it. It's no epic RPG, but it's more than just a fancy ad for Dragon Age. It makes for a good coffee break game.

Indeed, how DARE they go giving us something simple for free, I scorn them and their families.

IMO fingers crossed for more advertising like this, hats off to them for trying something different. I'm actually thinking them joining EA could have been a good thing . . .
