Been playing the Divinity: Original Sin alpha.

I think it's going to be a really good game when it's finished. Even in its alpha state, I'm having a lot of fun with it. The environment is extremely interactive as Larian promised it would be, and exploration is very enjoyable.

There is also very little hand-holding in this game. In fact, I've even been a bit frustrated by how large the first town is and the fact that buildings aren't labeled on the map and there are no quest markers. That won't be a problem in the finished game as I can see we'll have the ability to write our own notes on the map.

I'm not sure how I feel about the dialogue system though. Controlling two characters and having them talk to each other while choosing the replies for both feels a bit odd. I can see how it would be cool in multiplayer, but in singleplayer it just feels redundant to me.
