Gothic 3 Where to now?

I almost finished the quests in the major cities in Myrtana. Where should I be going of to now? Nordmar or Varant. Is one more diffecult than the other or doesn't it make much of a difference?

Doesn't really make much difference.

I think Nordmar is a little harder then Varant. Then again those undead in the dessert were a pain in the ass ... I don't think it makes much difference.

Nordmar has tougher critters and plenty of outdoor casters, but your level should be sufficient to take on either if you've cleared Myrtana.

It depends on your mood though. The two locations have quite different flavour To me it tends to be a bit of a mutually exclusive choice. Once I am done with either place I just want to finish the main quest, so I skip most sidequests at the other place, and then I go for the other location during my next playthrough
