Pricewatch!

The Steam deals are not limited to games alone. Check the software section too, especially if you're in the market for some GameMaker superduperluxusedition thing at 75%. Heard you can create decent games with it because it's quite open.
Nice - I hadn't even thought to look in that section - thanks! True that it doesn't have the Android / iOS export - but still, getting the pro version + HTML5 export for $50 is pretty sweet (saving $150). I've used previous versions of GameMaker - it's pretty good for making 2D (and simple 3D) games. I think Swords and Sorcery: Underworld was made with it.

Also, for the artists out there - ArtRage Studio Pro is 50% off on the sale. Heard lots of good things about this app.

Not just Amalur bundle, but more interesting bargains on Amazon, ME trilogy is 50% off, both Batmans are dirty cheap, Borderlands 2… Um… No to Borderlands 2, I'll buy Disney kids pack instead, sounds more fun than that. :D

EDIT: A cold shower, these offers are US only.
Well… Their loss. ;)

EDIT2:

Gamersgate to the rescue.

Although not RPG, Anno2070 and three DLC are -50% at gamersgate. I'm still enjoying that game, and have to recommend it, it's a strategy game, probably the best in Anno series and it's level of complexity can satisfy just anyone. Yes, it uses the draconic Ubisoft DRM, but well… Nobody is perfect, and for 25€ it's well worth the annoyance:

If you choose to buy DLC, I suggest getting only Financial Crisis (it includes response DLC sold separate on Steam) for 4€ as only that one contains additional missions:
http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-A2070DLC2/anno-2070-dlc-2-financial-crisis-complete-pack

A new thing called Batman Arkham bundle contains Asylum and City, both GOTY edition (whatever that means). Price? 13.79€
Yes I do have Asylum already, but City is not available for my region on Steam and this price is too nice to pass:
http://www.gamersgate.com/DDB-BAC/batman-arkham-collection-bundle

And the good thing is that it seems I can gift Asylum and still keep City for myself. Now a sweet headache - who do I gift it to?

The Game of the Year Edition usually includes all DLC released up to that point. But of course not always.

That's a great deal for the Batman games. I got the bundle for $10 off Amazon yesterday, but that one only incuded the original version of Arkham City without DLC.

One thing I liked about the Amazon bundle though is that it also included Steam keys for both games. The GamersGate bundle doesn't appear to include Steam versions.

Some current flash sales…

The Witcher EE Director's Cut for $2.49 on Steam.
The Witcher 2 EE for $7.49 on Steam.
Torchlight II for $9.99 on Steam
Deus Ex: Human Revolution for $4.99 on GamersGate
Dragon Age Bundle for $9.99 on GameStop

*Edit* F.E.A.R. Ultimate Shooter Edition for $2.99 on Amazon.

Amazon has a digital deals guy who hangs out on forums and everyone begs him for Steam keys so he makes sure he can get them when he can. Their customer service is great. I hope these $5 coupons we're getting are stackable in January. :)

The Arkham City DLC looks utterly uninspiring. Challenge maps and clothes for challenge maps and a tiny story DLC that I, so far, see unanimous disdain for. So I'm cool with not having a GOTY there. :p

Plenty of 1C games in bundles right now. First of we have the newcomer Bundle Stars:
http://www.bundlestars.com/
This one contains:
Men of War: Vietnam
Off-Road Racing
Reign: Conflict of Nations
Death to Spies: Moment of Truth
Death Track: Resurrection
Star Wolves 2
Real Warfare 1242
Real Warfare 2: Norther Crusades

This bundle is sold at a fixed price of £5.

And then there is Indie Gala, which contains 1 game that is not from 1C . It contains the following games (3 games will be unlocked during the second week, and are at the moment unknown):
Imperial Glory
XII Century: Gold edition (XII Century: Death or Glory & XII Century: Blood of Europe)
Necrovision: Lost Company
and if you pay more than $3.99 (says nothing about average, but it might go up with time)
Men of War
Cryostasis
Star Wolves 3: Civil War
Men of War: Red Tide

Out of all of the games in both bundles, only Imperial Glory is a non-steam game.

So if you pay over 5 bucks you also get the 3 games not known? Do you get them right away or have to wait til next week?

Both Gamestop and Topware chime in into the German tradition of an "Advent Calendar" :

The one from Topware looks a bit unusual, though : One pays 24 Euros for the whole Calendar - but the (downloadable) Calendar-Games cost only 1 Euro each.

German chain "Promarkt" hast the "KOTOR Collection" ("English software with German Handbook") for 14 Euro ... Just couldn't resist ...

Not a price discount, but interesting nevertheless : Look out for the "25 Years Power Play" magazine ! It costs 9 euros, but it is a mixture between "then and now" - featuring almost "legends" of German gaming jounalists !
It comes with the games of "The Last Express" and "Super Fighter & Sango Fighter".

You could have bought both KotORs for 5€ in the Steam sale. ;) Still a decent deal though.
