I smell a... wumpus!?
Yeah - I started to vote and gave up because it was such a joke. The list of nominees is, IMHO, downright dubious. The choices for PC Game of the Year made no sense at all.
So I did a little Googling. Lots of games announcing they are nominated. A few sites announcing that voting is open. NOTHING giving any hint at all about where the list of nominees actually comes from. There's even a page on TechRadar telling the world what this British 'institution' is all about but it never touches on how nominations actually work. They just appear one day.
Obviously "no evidence" doesn't automatically mean "evil most foul" but I really have no confidence at all in this award.
