I've been trying to get into Far Cry Primal, but it's just not hooking me. I quite liked Far Cry 4, and so far this seems like 4 with all the cool stuff removed.
I'm only a few hours in, does the game improve?
Gameplay aside, I thought the plot in 4 was quite interesting. The baddies had some personality. Does anything resembling a decent story/baddie develop in Primal?
I enjoyed randomly exploring stuff and creeping up on villages/bases to do some shooty stuff and take them over in 4. Primal has replaced the shooty stuff with some seriously dull ug-bash-me-got-a-big-stick stuff. If it went all out on the magical shaman stuff, it might be redeemable, but does it do that?
At least the game is quite pretty, I guess.
