VG247 has posted a snippet of an upcoming interview with Pete Hines as he confirms more DLC for F:NV without actually giving any details. They also asked about other platforms, which he just entirely sidesteps:
The Obsidian RPG has only been bolstered with one pack so far – Dead Money – but Hines confirmed the common assumption that more content is on the way.
“Oh absolutely,” said the company’s VP of PR and marketing when asked if we could expect more packs in 2011.
“I don’t think we’ve ever had a product where we said, ‘Yeah, we’re just gonna do one DLC pack and that’s all she wrote.’ We like to support our products. We like to do a good job of that, and I don’t think putting out one DLC pack would reach that.
“I would say you can probably look for other stuff from us down the road.”
Thanks to Omega for this and several other items.
More information.

All I have to say to this is where is my dlc for the pc. It will probably come out for the 360 first and come to the other systems months later. I'm probably not missing anything but it is stupid to alienate 2/3 of your gaming market.

I think that Bethsedas DLC are pretty decent. They are more like mini expantions! But to only release the DLC just for Microsoft ??? Guys what are you doing . There is no fucking way i would buy an XBOX ! What does microsoft think your going to buy there bullshit to play a couple of DLCs. I wish the guys that made the Nehrim mod make one for Fallout.

Microsoft cares nothing about the PC. This is all about getting the DLC on the Xbox before the PS3. We're just an afterthought.

With that said I don't believe for one second that the PC won't get this later.

Look at it this way at least we'll get to read the reviews for it ;)

I'm glad that Dead Money came out on the Xbox before the PC. If it had been released on the PC as well I probably would of bought it without reading a review because I love everything about New Vegas. However Dead Money is nothing like New Vegas. It looks more like something that the original Fallout 3 dev team would come up with. Hopefully the next one will have more substance to it.

Yes I have no doubt we will get on the pc. Its just pisses me off with all the different dlc on different systems. The game was launched mult-platform. Maybe Pete Hines can stop gobbling Microsoft's cock. I swear the xbox was not the best thing to happen for gaming.

You realise Pete Hines wouldn't have the authority to unilaterally make that decision, right? I don't want to get in the way of some intelligent cock-gobbling discussion but, just in case, I thought I'd point that out.

I think the GOTY is always the best way to get the mods. I always buy the original game and then none of the DLC. When they sell a big compilation for cheap, I pick it all up at once. Until that time it's just great to download player-made material. Much of this is of as-good-or-better than DLC.

I used to be guilty of blaming Pete Hines and Todd Howard for everything negative that happened at BS, but it's never that simple. MS causes a lot of BS headaches :)

Good point but it doesn't negate the fact that his company bent over and took the nice little check. He is a major executive himself. Ah but wait according to your previous post on another topic seeking to maximize your profits by any means is fine.

He's the PR dude - I doubt he had anything to do with anything. I wouldn't want everything my company does dumped at my feet...would you?

I'm not sure which post you're referring to but having been in business all my life - yes, companies often make decisions that tend to the most profit. On the scale of business rip offs this rates....1/10?

Personally, I find it a little disappointing but the one DLC I tried on each of Fallout 3 and Dragon Age were pretty underwhelming and this one has reviewed as mediocre, so I don't care much.

What?

Are you suggesting that there was no substance in Christine, Dog/God, Dean and the entire history of Sierra Madre?

oO

To be even more honest, Dead Money was better written than the main game.

Both critics and gamers gave it 69-70%. Som reasons for the average score:
Dead Money is a very difficult, very complicated, and very short DLC, remniscient of old-school trial and error games.
Dead Money has to much of walking around and doing nothing.
Trial-and-error frustrations diminish the impact of this add-on's great characters and dialogue.
Havent played it myself but according to the general opinnion I wont miss much.

And all of that comes down to if you like hard games / trial and error/ complicated or not. This says nothing out on how deep a game is. Which I do. Apart from that sound design/narrative design of this game are excellent. Dead Money truly is for the hardcore. (That said its a managable DLC. But as soon as you use it with hardcore mode. Oh fucking God. I know of Fallout Vets that can't make it through the DLC on Very Hard with Hardcore on)

And in fact reviews weren't mediocre. They were mixed:

Don't ever trust numbers. People fudge those all the time and one mans 70% is another 90% ;)

Read what the DLC is all about and judge for yourself.

It has been weighed, it has been measured and it has been found lacking.
