What games are you playing now?

You always run into someone in RDR2 too.

The problem is… All of it sux except a couple of guys trying to crack a stolen safe earlygame that nets you whopping $40 and earlygame it's a huge sum. You'll see this thing repeated later, several times, but by then you'll be a billionaire.

The rest of random encounters are lazy, boring and best to just ignore. Kidnaped damsels in distress, an imbecile who needs directions, a guy who's horse escapes, blind beggar, robbers, escaped prisoners, crazy priest, whatever irritating in cities caller for Gavin and carriage/train robbery in progress. I think I've numbered all possibilities in RDR2 and they all repeat indefinetly. Note that damsels in distress sometimes want you to ride them home. Like you don't have anything better to do than riding, again. And you have to make sure to ride over roads, otherwise the damsel will protest first, then will tell you to shove off, climb down the horse and walk away while you won't get the most important +1 rep.

Wait, no, that's not all. There is also a saloon with rats infestation. Regardless of how many times you clear those, rats return the next day and the stupid owner whines on street again and again, over and over, till you uninstall the overrated mediocrity.

Then there is pokemon. Animals called legendary. Fish included. You can't stumble on these before unlocked through a main and side quests. But these don't appear randomly, they all have a fixed spot on the map. You'll kill one or two only to learn it's same old same old unrewarding chore.

I've said before, RDR2 has the most boring world I've seen in any game.
If by some chance you didn't took my advice to skip it, I really have to suggest concentrating on actual sidequests not generated randomly.

Still on RDR2. I restarted the game since it came out on Steam. And man, I don't know if I'm playing the game or just capturing screenshots. But it's glorious to look at. Just phenomenal work. The lighting, the textures, the animations are superbly intricate. It's a real feast for the eyes.

Nice shots :). What GPU are you running that on?

Finally started a playthrough of Pathfinder Kingmaker. It's very early days - I'm only a couple of hours in - but I'm enjoying it. I've gone with a human aldori defender for my main character, not sure if that was a good idea or not but I liked the description and the duelling sword looked pretty cool. The combat feels at a nice pace as well, it's pretty clear what's going on.

Nice. That's a classic. Who did you choose as your main character and who ended up being your "special friend"? I'd be interested in hearing what you think about some of the big decisions you have to make… I don't want to give anything away if you haven't reached it yet.

Still on the replay and amazed how awsome the game is now where there is almost no bug and with all the DLC. While mourning for my $ spent on the overrated junk port from consoles with the most boring game world ever. Dunno who photoshopped this tweet, but is so true:

Yeah, it looks very ambitious and promising but I'm waiting on its full release. Day one purchase when it's done though.
I feel the same but I usually never buy Incomplete/Early Access games. As for Stellar Tactics looks like the developer probably needs a few more years to finish.

Yeah, I too won't buy Early Access. I want at least a complete product. That said, I usually don't wait for a GOTY version or DLC either, I like to play on day one. But I eventually pick up the Ultimate Edition or whatever too down the line.

If I didn't buy Early Access my library would be half as full. Most survivor games never get fully released :) 7 Days to Die, The Long Dark, SCUM, etc.

I've finally picked up No Man's Sky. I really don't know what I'm doing yet, but I really like the half dozen worlds that are replicated thousands of times each just with different resource settings :)

I've played about 15-20 hours but that's really 15-20 worlds just messing around. I haven't got past making a one man shack in any of the games yet. I just like loading up the different worlds and using the scanner to find all the goodies.

Is there a way to get more inventory early? I find myself throwing away anything that isn't used in crafting/repairs.

Bitterblack isle of dragons dogma. It started out fine up till right after the first boss (gazer). Difficulty was fine, I had lots of fun exploring the place.

However, after that boss the difficulty really spiked and my level 66 assassin isn't able to make even a dent in the health of a cursed dragon or elderly ogre.

They say if your strength isn't high enough (higher than their defence) you will basically do 1 damage. I have 1500 strength which should be enough but still it takes forever to just chip one health bar off (the cursed dragon has 6). I think I might call it a day now and uninstall. My hand literally got tired mashing the attack button.

Then again it is possible. There is a video of someone beating the end boss in barely 6 minutes on hard. Crazy!

I've been playing the Co8 mode Keep on the Borderlands when something weird happened to the cursor. Now I can't left-click on doors and static object to select them. A strange bug, but it's a show-stopper. Ah well… next.

I'm playing Temple of Elemental Evil right now for the first time.
I love it already and wish there were more games like it.
Already looking forward to Knights of the Chalice.

Right now I haven't gamed for four days because I took a nasty spill face first off my porch onto the concrete. I either broke or chipped my eye socket bones, upper and lower, and have a huge wound covering my eye and cheek on one side of my face. Been resting that off for a few but I hope I'm feeling better enough soon that I can get back into my Brigand: Oaxaca Let's Play that I'm doing for my YouTube channel.
