Im just a poor student, but I still hurled in $25 and will have a glass of Captain Morgan's Spiced Gold Rum once we reach 1.100.000 which is about 10-15 minutes away tops.

I don't even need stretch goals, tbh. Deliver it in April '14 with all that they promised in the mission statement, and I'll be happy as a clam! Grats on hitting the goal, I bet they clock in around 5 mil.

Pocket money for them, so for them the old school type of RPG's are still dead.
True.
Also keep in mind that porn industry would never shoot a sci fi movie - it's dead for them as it doesn't bring back enough cash.

Groovy!!!

Hmm… I'm happy to hear someone is finally working something really similar to beloved IE games but with I'm not pledging to this yet. So little is known about this game I don't feel like celebrating just yet. But seeing that they've already got the funding they need to get started, I will just sit back and watch how this project progresses in time.

I seriously doubt the 1.5 years they're shooting for is going to be enough to make a wholesome experience with the amount of depth they're talking about, and especially not when Obsidian is at the helm. They're not exactly known for delivering finished/solid products on a deadline.

I wonder how they will finance any potential delay?

Other than that, this sounds pretty great.

They seem to have worked on it for a while i guess since they have the map and some other artwork.

"[…]taking him or her not just through this story, but, with your continued support, through future adventures".

Might be a rather short game, but with future expansions. But yes, i've never really trusted the deadlines for those bigger titles, including Wasteland and Shadowrun.

1,5 years is rather tight.
But I suspect that they have spent quite some time doing groundwork before launching it on kickstarter.

Some lines hint at that anyway.

Now, if they could just get AP2 going I´ll be as happy as a pig in mud.

Well, we will have to wait and see - but it's certainly one of the most interesting kickstarters I've heard about.

I love what they're saying about wanting to deliberately stay away from consoles - because of the inherent weaknesses in the hardware/controller. Also, they seem to really want to deal with mature subjects - which is just the kind of thing I love to hear :)
