Kingdom Come Deliverance
I'll go my classic short list.
Took me 117 hours to complete almost everything that's possible to complete. This means I left unsolved a few quests that can't be solved at all (at least I don't know a workaround that wouldn't screw my game). Also, as quests have different possible outcomes, some of possibilities I haven't experienced which is not a biggie as I want to replay it anyway.
Top notch:
- inengine cutscenes coreography*
- active props like trebuchet*
- costimography*
- the story and substories just keep you going for more, characters are fantastic
- the world full of activities and not empty, a middlefinger to grindlovers
- sound and sound editing
- absolutely amazing and engaging castle siege reconstruction I've never seen in any other game
Mediocre:
- Music
- Ingame economy
- Quite a few fetch quests that could have been easily avoided and reworked differently
- Fishing got cut out so you can't take use of fishing spots (still you can loot fish from traps)
- Not enough nudity (okay, modders will fix this)
Horrible:
- Fire animation is so bad it feels like stolen from the old (original) Doom
- No hairworks in year 2018
- Almost all quests are bugged as if those were directed by Bethesda
- Crapload of other bugs like corrupted saves, everyone yelling your name, etc
Not sure what to think of, but then again I don't care about it anyway:
- Melee combat is fun but uses QTE in it
- Ranged combat is hard at start but with some practice you'll pwn everything
If it wasn't bug-o-rama I'd call it a nearmasterpiece, but I can't forgive competing with Skyrim's number of bugs so:
8/10
If you didn't buy it yet, do wait for the patch.
Me? It's so damn good I want it's sequel. As soon as possible!
