Cool, I never played any Langrisser game, but I'm a big fan of Growlanser which is basically the spiritual successor of Langrisser & made by many of the same people.

I've not heard of these titles before, not that I recall anyways, these look like games that I'd enjoy. I'll be keeping an eye out for them!

In the US the first one was released on Genesis as “Warsong”. It was an awesome game at the time, one of my favorites as a kid. Battle for Wesnoth and Wargroove are more recent titles that take a lot of inspiration from Langrisser, but neither are as good IMHO.

I’m excited for this one, especially since the second (and subsequent games) never got a US release. The series has continued and is popular in Japan.

I never played this series, also never played Growlanser. But I like Fire Emblem series a lot, so I will probably check on this as well. Thanks for the tip daveyd. By the way, new Fire Emblem will be out this month (26th) on Switch. Already preordered long time ago :)

Familiar faces. Not sure they can maintain the gameplay though.

Neverheard about this "classic". So much for classic.

Announcement says remake, shows basically nothing and keeps silent if it's yet another grind+checkpoints+mushrooms outdated design.

That's a series I'd love to see appear on either great old games or steam, Fire Emblem. If I'd not given away my Switch, I would be seriously tempted to pick up the newest release.
