problems with installation

I haven't played Gothic 2 for awhile, but I recently got the urge to pick it up again. I'm trying to install Gothic 2 Gold on my machine that runs Vista. There's plenty of space for the game, but for some reason whenever I click "install" on the autorun menu, the game (or menu) just begins "not responding." Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm really aching to play Gothic 2.

I would say: go for windows xp. But I think you won't be happy with that answer

Perhaps you should look around in our tech forum -> There are a lot of games people try to get running under vista and you prolly find your sollution there.

G2 should run on Vista. Maybe look at WoG if you can't find a solution here.
