Where's Larson?

Larson is "up north" looking for his secret ore stash. I've just about cleared Nordmar of all the nasties and I haven't been able to find him. I think I found his secret stash, an area with several ore deposits a little west of Xardas' tower. Can someone give me a clue to where he's located?

This older thread by member 'curious' shows a spot/marker (pale blue) on his map marked *prospectors camp* and Larson is just to the south of it.
