Default Divinity 2 - Screens @ Worthplaying

January 28th, 2009, 01:35
Worthplaying has 20 screens from Divinity 2: Ego Draconis. Some of them look familiar but I don't think I've seen all of them, so hopefully it's worth a look.
More information.

Wow, that's looking really good.

I have high hopes for this one. Hope the content is as good as the first (minus that huge 1st dungeon in the first game), and they keep the TB combat and humor.

I think he means Turn Based.

The game kinda looks like an action RPG to me from screenshots.

Of course it's an action/RPG, just like its predecessor.

It is a different sort of 'turn-based', where everyone's turns occur simultaneously and your action points recharge instantly.

Anyway, I will purchase this one. It's the only Belgian gameproducer (or at least the only one that is known by me) and I just want to support them a bit.

The screenshots look amazing, but I'll wait for videos of the actual gameplay to decide whether or not I'm buying it.

Bah ! They still have these stupid red arrows ! (Second picture)

Apart from that, everything looks just great.

The ring-like symbol reminds me of the cover of Mike Oldfield's "Light & Shade", by the way.

Very nice--somehow keeps a bit of the feel of DD, even with the 3D look. Looking forward to this one.
