Stuttering in Drakensang while V sync is enabled
Stuttering in Drakensang while V sync is enabled
February 25th, 2009, 09:06
Just wondering if any of the German readers (or those who can read German) had seen any solutions to fixing the stuttering problem Drakensang has when you turn on V-sync? I had this issue with the demo and now with full release and the only way to fix it is to turn off V-sync.
Any config.ini file hax worth exploring?
GTX 280, 4 gig ram, vista 64, 3.6ghz c2duo, latest drivers etc, don't waste your time on the tech stuff.
TY

Uh… maybe a stupid question, but… if turning off V-sync corrects the problem, why do you want to turn on V-sync?

Kinda stupid question
, when v sync is off you get tearing effects when your fps exceed the refresh rate of your monitor. both the stuttering and tearing have an equally negative effect of breaking your game induced hypnosis.
so ya

I have never found the tearing to be as annoying as all the issues caused by VSync, so never turn it on.

Didn't have that problem either.
I also couldn't find anything after a quick search.
