Cannot find Helm of Fire

I came to an dead end when I'm in deeps of Gruldur and cannot find the Helm of Fire so I could get past statue which breaths fireballs. I've killed the Grolms and opened the treasure chest but cannot find The Helm of Fire anywhere. Could some one tell me what I'm I missing?

Helm is in the room past the statue.

One level below, there is a puzzle with doors. Key is there. That key is used to open the door opposite the statue. There is a button there to disable the statue.
