Fistful of Ducats …stuck!

Hi All,

Finally managed to get the game from Gamersgate (after an epic struggle) - going along nicely, but stuck on quest for stoerrebrandt merchants: I' can't find the Ferdok brewery! Or rather, I can but muddlemarsh..miiddlemush? Whatever, doesn't say anything about the brewery delivery. And I can't find any other brewery in Ferdok. Finally killed that damn humungous rat, since I though that was blocking that conv option. nada. So, have the quest item *supposedly - deosn't show up in my quest bag) but can't continue that thread. Just an annoyance - any help on what I'm missing?

Middlemosh isn't the head of the brewery, he's just the care-taker. The head is on the other side of the building, at the waterfront, if I recall correctly.

If you click on the quest in the quest log, the respective question mark will show up colored, which makes mix-ups unlikely.

I saw two guys on the dock side of the brewery - but when I click on them I can't speak to either - no dialog option pops up. Who else is there? I had also previously tried selecting the quest in the quest log - no question mark pops up. Are you suppose do double click or do something else? I never had problems with any other quest.

Um, did you grab the guy you're supposed to escort to the brewery? If I'm thinking of the right quest, you need to talk to the negotiator and he leads you to the meeting place. You don't negotiate yourself. HTH.

hm, I'm not sure this is the same quest? I was given the assignment by stoerre merchant guy and he said go fetch 'the stuff' - met some guys at the harbour with the goods inquestion, and they said 'off you go' and that the brewery was 'over there'. The conv log said that I had the package to be delivered but it was sealed so I could not look inside. So, the assignment (it seemed) was to deliver this package to the brewery. If they meant someting else, it's pretty unclear. At any rate, a quest marker should be visible - none is. Which suggests that something is not quite working… I'm in Tallon at the moment, so will have yet another snoop around when I'm back in Ferdok.

Ah, i think you might have the same problem that I had here: You actually have to go to the back of the wagon where those 3 guys are standing, and pick up a little brown bag. Once you pick that up, both a quest marker, and the head of the brewery (further up on the docks) that you need to deliver to, will appear.

It is confusing in the sense that most often quest objects will automatically appear in your inventory, but in this case, you had to actually walk to the back of the wagon, and click on the little bag sitting on the back of the wagon, for it to appear in your inventory, this, even after you had made the comment that you have it but it is sealed!

I also get stuck there, some points are quite confusing in this trick.
