April 2nd, 2009, 00:38
BioWare has released a rather fun and LARP-y "Dragon Age" trailer for April Fools Day. Rather fun, so take a look.
If you'd like some real Dragon Age stuff, Worthplaying has 11 new screens on offer.
More information.

@Dajjer: to cite Jack Torrance / Nicholson:
"all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy"
Anyway, I had to laugh! Pretty cool as April jokes go.

Some people seem to think that these kinds of things significantly take resources away from the development team (see comments below video). I can never understand these people's thought processes.

Nice!
Here's a funny French video (with English subtitles) dealing with the conflict between pure p&p rules and the fun aspect during a session. It was posted at GameStar by Radon Labs as a gimmick in a discussion on why Drakensang left out 75% of the DSA ruleset. Posted after a respectful answer, mind you.
Tom et ses chums! Farador D&D [Part: 1 of 2] The posted (harmless) video. Continued in
Part 2 (attention, this one is NSFW!)

Not LARP, but some random neurons firing in my brain when watching the April fools video reminded me of this Summoner extra:

Oh, I wish I had a river I could skate away on. But it don't snow here. It stays pretty green. I'm going to make a lot of money, then I'm going to quit this crazy scene. -- [Joni Mitchell]
