How do i Kill Sanford in Montera? He won't die!

I can't kill him….he only drops down for a minute or two, and then he wakes up again……same thing with Phil the swineguy in Cape Dunn….! What do I have to do to acutually kill him? I've talked to the mercenary leader, and told him I'll kill Sanford…..then what?? He just wont die when I beat him!!

You need to attack him again when he is down on the ground. the action key + attack

Once he's down on the ground you have to right-click and then make sure his name is highlighted and then left-click, it will make the character do the coup-de-grace and he'll die.
