Dragon Age - Mabari War Dogs
May 14th, 2009, 15:14
BioWare has began updating the Characters section of the Dragon Age website and the first profile is the Mabari War Dog, which you'll presumably be able to add to your party:
Dogs are an essential part of Ferelden culture, and no dog is more prized than the Mabari. The breed is as old as myth: Said to have been bred from the wolves who served the legendary hero, Dane. Prized for their intelligence and loyalty, these dogs are more than mere weapons or status symbols: The hounds choose their masters, and pair with them for life. To be the master of a Mabari anywhere in Ferelden is to be recognized instantly as a person of worth.More information.

Awesome, Ive always like the concept of war dogs. The war-paint looks pretty cool, even tho they'd prolly lick it off pretty soon lol

My (previous) dog once fell into an unused well. The water there was very rusty. She was pink for several weeks afterward. Probably not an color you'd want on a Mabari war dog, but shows it can be done.
BTW, the breeding line is clearly mythical, since they look nothing like wolves. They're obvious mastiffs.
