View alchemy recipes etc?

Apologies if this has been asked before, but is there any way to see what alchemy recipes I've learnt? Can't seem to find that anywhere, and thought I'd been given the recipe for beer but can't seem to brew anything when I try and use the alchemy bench.

You don't "learn" recipes, you simply get them and store them in your inventory. To check them out, look in the Documents section (the section far to the right in your inventory).

Ah okay . . . is there a beer recipe? Because I'm sure the conversation told me how to brew it but I didn't get any paperwork to go with it

There is no beer recipe; you cannot brew beer.
