Actually the February 19th, 2010 release date was already officially announced since December 21, 2009. It's on the end/exit screen of the German demo.

Yes, DACH are actually the international vehicle registration codes of those countries, if your wondering how Germany/Austria/Switzerland maps to D/A/CH.

It's a language mishmash (hotchpotch, gallimaufry, jumble, farrago -> I love these words):

(D)eutschland (german) = Germany (english)
(A)ustria (latin) = Österreich (german) = Austria (english)
(C)onfoederatio (H)elvetica (latin) = Schweiz (german) = Switzerland (english)

"Dach", before all, is the German word for roof.

Which makes it kind of funny.
Germany, Austria and Switzerland are the `roof´ of what?

There´s also this nice lenghty word - German language has its strength in combined words - of:
-> Dachorganisation

Which marks the higher level part of a multi-faceted organisation.
Let´s say like a superregional labor union as compared to its regional subsidiaries.

Sorry, but i felt very `Alrik´ today - and just had to give way to it.
