Missing Paladin's Helm…

Hey, I'm playing on Windows 7, and have to Community Patch 1.73 (Enhanced Edition) installed, not sure if that helps any but the problem is this… in the quest "Find the first Paladin's helmet", I've spoken to Shawn in Okara, but the helm isn't on the shelf, or table in Grimboll's house. I've made a few different char files and it's missing in everyone, also something odd is that right before the table where it should be, theres a woodcutters axe under the floor… Thanks in advance.

In earlier G3 patches the helm was on a table near to Grimball but in later patches, if i remember correctly, found the helm located in the basement below Grimball.

Sorry there's no basement, maybe try the locked storeroom - with the two guards?
