As there is no accepted definition of what a cRPG is and as cRPGs (as self proclaimed, all of them) have almost zero RP compared to paper RPGs perhaps the cRPG title ought to just be scrapped altogether?

Scrap it if you wish, and call the classics something else.

However, that something else is still going to be what ME2 isn't.

Each single game mentioned have features commonly associated with a RPG, either storybased choices, quests, dialog, inventory or experience dependent stats.
