It's fixed on the front page, where it counts.
i think the only time i've looked at it was the first time i browsed to this site.. It's much more convinient to have this forum as the bookmark since you can directly see people's comments about videos, reviews etc + interesting topics are often at the top

Your choice, of course. In my opinion, some of the most informative items are never commented because they aren't controversial, which means you miss them altogether.
Our site stats disagree with your perspective, by the way. Who the hell uses the front page? The couple of hundred thousand visitors every month, compared to the few thousand using the forums.
