The new cover looks much better, imo.

What do you think? It has this nice "old school" look, doesn't it.

No, but this has … more style, in my opinion. It looks imho very much in the tradition of the older TDE producs, like in the 80s to the end-90s.

Much like the old Realms of Arkania series covers…

If you look through the list of adventures here http://www.wiki-aventurica.de/index.php?title=Abenteuer or even better, if you look at this list of offiial wallpaprs here http://www.dasschwarzeauge.de/index.php?id=405 then you'll notice that especially older covers from the 80s and the 90s did have a similar style, especially put forward by the distinct art style of http://www.wiki-aventurica.de/index….rcan_Y%C3%BCce , for years THE key illustrator for publication covers.

Damn it is fully localised but voices are still in English
You can check some videos on this site

http://www.drakensang.pl/

The collectors edition looks amazing and for less than 40 EUR.

I suppose so, I can't find shops selling this game but from my country. Weird, google seems broken!

That said my version isn't an international version just a French version alas dialogs are in English and this is disturbing to have the subtitles in one language and the voices in another. Also it's weird as Dakensang had French voices if I remember well. Seems a great RPG anyway from what I saw yesterday with 2 or 3 hours of play.

Myself I understand they didn't choose the international cover quoted. It could look nice and fit well the style of the game, its problem is too look too close to Drakensang cover, in a shop players could not even notice it's a new game.
