Arcania Save Game Files - Where Are They?

I'm playing Arcania on a PC.

I need to know where Arcania stores save game files.

I started playing this game a few months back. Now, for some reason my save games have all vanished (as evidenced by the fact that the only menu option available when I start Arcania is to start a NEW GAME).

A quickle google on the subject shows I'm not the only person this has happened to.

I want to know where Arcania stores the save game files so I can manually back them up this time. Thanks for any help.

On my computore they are in c/user/(accountname)/my documents/ArcaniA - Gothic 4
I have a swedish version of windows 7 so not 100% sure whit the names on the diffrent folders.
