Mission to Find Spare Part for Ship

Hmmm, where can I find this - the spare part for my father's ship, the power cell? I click on the quest in my quest log to activate it but I don't get any flag on the map telling me where it is. Any ideas? I'm almost finished with the first planet and I don't remember stumbling across it anywhere.

You have to do all the missions for Captain Ridinger including the one on Synax, where you get to by shuttle.
