Sequence Breaking

I was wondering if anyone else had discovered that you can travel to planet Gli before the main quest sends you there.

You have to steal a flyer from the spaceport in the city of Goldin and travel to the oasis southwest of the city. With the flyer, you can go over the mountains that act as a "barrier" in the map, travel in a straight line and eventually you'll be able to land in Gli! I suspect you can reach all other planets this way too, but I haven't found them yet.

Are you using the 1.1 patch? Because I don't think you can steal a flyer on Goldin in that version anymore…

I think I installed it correctly. (There's a "Mouse Acceleration" slider in the options that I believe is added by that patch) And I'm also using the latest version of the Unofficial Patch (On the Russian version) .

The flyer doesn't appear immediately, I believe it takes some time to land in the port but I can use it even without spending lockpicks.

Did you continue an older saved game which could explain this? See the other post here that the 1.1 patch should fix this exploit.

I started out with the patch installed, and I'm using the Russian version if that makes any difference. I could upload my "save" folder if anyone's interested in playing with the flyer.
