Steam's Offline Mode

I use Steam on a Mac and I rarely have problems. Sometimes Team Fortress 2 doesn't like to start or quit but I don't know if that is from the last update or not because I just picked it up when it became free.

Steam has worked perfectly for me recently. But years ago, when it first came out, it trashed my Half-life installation. It took years before I could trust it again.

Last night's update fixed the quitting problem and the games not launching bugs…

Still, one week, no communication, leaves a bit of a bad taste no ?

Cheers for all the tips guys. Finally got it to work yesterday. You have to select offline mode while you are on-line. doh!
