Dialog Speed
August 4th, 2011, 07:04
First, I'm new to this game (and to the developer) as I picked it up on a lark from gamersgate. I've installed the various english patches as per the readme.
Am I missing something or do I really have to wait for 10-15 seconds or more for some
dialogs are allow to progress forward? No button or key presses seem to make much if any difference. I'm now using a hack I wrote many years ago to speed up the game so the dialogs go away faster but I'm wondering if there isn't a better more appropriate way to skip through dialogs?
Edit: Nevermind. ESC does the job as I found in one of the guides. Would prefer space or mouse 1 or something but it works.

By default it is the BACKSPACE key ( 8,-1 )
thus it is possible to manually set in the CONTROLSETTINGS.INi, not the one in the Main game folder but C:\Users\Public\Documents\White Gold\INI
If you want it on SPACE than assign in the Control INI
Skip Movie=32,-1
and the dialogs will advance.
