A comment from there :
And what are we, then ?
It's like as if they were turning all definitions upside down.
Masses of non-RPG players become "core gamers". Yeah. Right.
Another small company EA buys to then destroy later? But what disturbs me much, much, much more is this (bold printing by me) :
The new BioWare Social unit will bring BioWare and EA franchises to the growing audience of core gamers who are looking for high-quality, rich gameplay experiences on social platforms."So, they believe that the FPS-playing masses they tried to address with DA2 out there are actually a "growing number of core gamers" ?
And what are we, then ?

Jeez.. I wake up this morning to see that EA has purchased KlickNation and PopCap since yesterday.
Speaking to the acquisition, BioWare head Ray Muzyka said, "KlickNation's expertise in building innovative and compelling RPGs for social platforms makes them a seamless tuck-in with the BioWare team at EA. We share the same creative values.Yeah, I'd say that's pretty accurate.

They bought PopCap months earlier. They "borged" them only these days.
At least that's how I understood it.

Thanks for the soap. Still feel dirty though. I don't think all the soap in the world could wash away that quote from Ray…*shiver*
I just flashed on a half-rat half-horse thing. Scary.
