There are so many followers around that in my current game I decided to stop reloading when one dies. So far I lost just one, the elven guy from that first village you go to.

You have to do a fairly nasty little task for him, which I finally caved to when I couldn't find another sneaky follower early on.

Actually, it's the other way around. The other suitor wanted me to do a nasty task but I ratted him out and then F-dude was willing to join me.
And yeah, I know it works both ways. They were both willing to be scum…

Hmm, I seem to remember the bard's request to be rather tame in comparison. F_dude wanted me to deliver a falsified note. Ah well…

The quests are virtually identical, actually. It depends on who you talk to first.

Is this a radiant quest? So the first one you talk to asks you deliver a forged note about the other?

I think you can talk to the lady or either of the guys first. It's a tangle love triangle sorta.

I married the lady, she set up shop for me and is a nice little earner! Amusingly the elf comes to visit and we live in Whitehaven to!

Well Rounded
December 2nd, 2011, 22:16
I personally find that creating a well rounded character keeps the game from being broken while letting you enjoy all forms of combat without replaying the game. Most of the really important combat skills are found early on in the skill trees. And a little self control prevents abuse of smiting or enchanting as well. Now if only gained levels for running hours of in game menial errands…
Also, it is really sad that magic doesn't level like other stats… Didn't they umm play test that one… I mean it's a pretty obvious one!
