Got ditched AFTER we got married

So I ended up marrying the barbarian girl from riften whose the self proclaimed protector of that town. She seems very handy in a fight with her heavy armor and axe/shield combo. So got married, told her were going to live in the dwarf city house. And she said I will meet you there. So I fast traveled to house not there yet. Ok fair enough I got a horse she does not. So went to do a quest alone to kill time, did it went all the way back to the house and she is still not there. Any suggestions?

Maybe she just didn't have the heart to tell you?

hehe on a serious note I got tired of her always saying when I have time to make the arrangements at the temple after the engagement. I figured if I married her she would stop mentioning that. Seems I waited too long for her liking…

Sleep overnight in the house and she will likely appear. I've thought a couple times that I lost a companion only to have them turn up later.

Yeah, wait in one location for at least a day or two. And then fast travel someplace close if they don't show up after entering your house.
