Best ipad2 rp / strategy games?

What are they? I know Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim is excellent since I played that through on my own finger-phone. I read that starbase orion is coming for idevices so I became interested especially of 4x space games allthough Im okay with rpg too.

I always imagined tablets being well-suited for turn-based stuff. A good free (no-space) turn-based RPG-strategy is wesnoth:

Wesnoth is available free for PC even and I rather play fantasy wars. Somthing more unique like starbase orion would be better.

Wesnoth is very cool if you haven't played it yet. TONS of campaigns to download. Very hard on most of them.

For good fun turn-based strategy multi-player action you can play right on your tablet in the web browser, I'd have to say give The Grid a try…

wesnoth is good, but the devs only seems to be interested in supporting the free PC version which gets frequent updates, they dont seem to care at all for us who supported them and actually payed for the game. i dont think ive seen a single update for the ipad version since i bought it 5-6 months ago. So yes, pc version is the way to go, unfortunately since i think it plays really well on the ipad.
