DeMunn seems to be a strong favorite, as he was also in Green Mile and Shawshank Redemption.

Anyone else remember to watch the start of Season 2 part 2 last night?
If that episode was any indicator, the remainder of this season is something to look forward to.

Yes it was "tidy".
Though a certain character is reminding me of Kim from "24"

I taped it and watched it a couple hours ago. I liked it. There's even a chance that the wife will be toast. Can't beat that with a stick…

On the 'after-show' The Talking Dead, they had one of the producers that seemed to imply that the zombie virus is going to 'go airborn' but you never know when people say things on that program. I think the title of the latest episode, 'Nebraska' gives a pretty good hint on where the gang is headed, my guess is at the end of the next episode. I'd probably try to head towards the Florida Keys and make my way to a Carribean island, but I guess Nebraska is as good as anyplace to go during a zombie apocalypse.

Someone is going to go looking for their "buddies" ….
And we can only keep our fingers crossed re: Mrs. Annoying, but its very unlikely. I would be surprised to say the least.

What is wrong with Shane? He is not completely irredeemable, just a very ruthless scumbag. At least he keeps it interesting. If they make him seem less pschopathic this season it will be good. Nothing worse than 2d characters! Rick is fleshing out a bit - seems like they are getting back on track. One can only hope.
re: Wife - probably get found by the "others", leading to tense confrontations ahead.

It was an okay episode, the usual Lori dumbass stuff going on. I hope tomorrow's is better.

Well now, yesterday's episode was mostly setup for next week, me thinks. Not a bad episode, I suppose, but certainly more about setting the stage.

Otherwise, it was ok. I didn't quite get why Rick would go out of his way to save that kid though..

Guilt for killing the other guys, me thinks. Possibly guilt for losing a kid (Sophie).

It's standard behavior for Rick. He helps people if he can, within reason. He's basically a very decent person.
He didn't help those in the bar - because he sensed they were very bad news - and he had to protect his own at the farm.
BTW, am I the only one who thought one of the "bad news" guys had a serious Mickey Rourke (the young version) vibe?

As for this episode, I thought it was better than the last one. It's nice to see the old man finally coming to his senses and recognising the value of sticking with Rick. Unfortunately, Lori survived…. Oh well. She certainly knows how to manipulate people, doesn't she.

I thought that episode was pretty good, apart from when they returned to the barn and the soap started flowing again.
Seems to be moving along well and characters developing more. Lori doing the old Lady Macbeth thing was neat.
Some good action for once.
Hard to beleive how different to the previous 7 episodes!
Nice zombie gore. (Windshield??!)

Lori dying would improve the show a lot. Preferably by being turned into a zombie, then being shot and arrowed multiple times. If this show wants to step it up, I suggest using more of the source material in the comics. There is a reason why the comic has sold so well!
