Who is Cuano?

From what I've read, the only way I can get into the Thieve's guild is to either be a rogue, or have this Cuano guy with me. I want to learn lockpicking (I'm playing as a fighter).

I don't think you can delete threads, not even your own.

You meet Cuano automatically.
