Help with First Planet Quest

So I sided with the civilians instead of the bandits on the first planet after the training sim. So far, no problems what so ever with the game. My mission log updates saying that I've taken care of the bandit problem, and that I should return to the shaman to finish the quest. However when I go to him, he just does a slight bow and hand gesture without saying anything. I'm not exactly sure if the game glitched and improperly updated my mission info (Cause I was killing bandits at the time) or if I'm locked out of conversation with the shaman. I'll upload my save in case it's need. Thanks.
