Five new levels, four new enemy types, and a new boss. I think it also adds some new maps for "survival mode".

Anyone who likes pure shooters and hasn't played Hard Reset yet needs to get it. It's 75% off right now ($3.75) during Steam's summer sale.

Heck, even if you are on the fence in regards to pure shooters, it is worth it. I usually don't like them all that much, but Hard Reset was fun.

Thanks for the heads up. I bought HR a while back. Maybe I should actually play it?

I wanted to like it. The cyberpunk atmosphere simply blew me away and I was so pumped up by the intro that I had to send a youtube video with the introduction to a friend who like the same genré. Then the game begun and I couldn't handle more than a few minutes. Amazing atmosphere, but completely wrong game for me. The only First-Person Shooter like that I have been able to handle and enjoy was Serious Sam and that is because Serious Sam is a satire of regular first-person shooters that make me laugh, at the same time I hated Painkiller. That said, Hard Reset presents an amazing scenery that just reeks of stuff I would like to interact with, if it was actually inhabited by people. But it isn't, you just shoot robots.

Assuming you're looking for a pure hard-core shooter, I'd say it's great for the price. I really enjoyed it, but I was in the mood for an adrenaline inducing kill-fest at the time.

If that's what you're looking for, I highly recommend it. It's not quite on the same level as Serious Sam, but it's a nice alternative if you've already played the SS titles.
