Revert CP 1.75 install to 1.74?

Okay, so, I bought and installed the GOG version of G3, which includes CP 1.75. Unfortunately, I have a bunch of saves left based on a CP 1.74 install (might have been 1.73 too, don't remember exactly). I lost that install due to a failing hard drive, but I don't want to lose the countless hours I put in those save games and just continue from them.

Is there any way at all to "roll back" the GOG install? Could I just try to install CP 1.74 over it? Is there any other way to be able to play my saves?

Sorry but for all I know that's not possible. And noone cares or cared because other games don't have a problem with gamesaves compatibility…

But since I also bought G3 on GOG I'll see later today if it's possible to install unpatched game out from it. That would allow you to apply any patch you want.
Don't put too much of hope into it though.
