As we've gotten closer to Dishonored's release, I have become more intrigued with it. I'm sure I will be all over GTA V as well. It's looking like a revisioning of San Andreas (with GTA IV being a revisioning of GTA 3).
Amongst the upcoming releases it's only Dishonored and Broken Sword 5 that catches my interest. I backed Wasteland 2, but turn-based isn't my favorite type of gaming and it won't come up in the next time. So I'm not overly excited.

Rayman Origins could be nice as well.

Dishonored isn't open world at all. It is instance based. You unlock new areas in a quite linear order. The variety of the game lies in it's several solution paths during the mission.

The Last of Us just keeps on impressing me. This playthrough of the level they showed some months ago looks gripping and interesting as hell. If what they showed isn't that scripted, and it is considering they showed the same level being played differently last time, it's going to be one hell of an experience.

After playing the Uncharted, which were so good that I actually finished every one of them in about 2-3 sittings (which involved gaming until sunrise and then going to work with my eyes bloodshot, but well worth it
), I can hardly wait to see their latest. I've been mainly following Naughty Dog because of their game director, Amy Hennig, who pretty much lead the Legacy of Kain series after BO1. So I was huge fan. I was a bit disappointed that none of that awesome writing seemed to go into Uncharted (not that it's badly written, but nowhere near as close as awesome as LOK), but the series turned out to be amazing none the less.

Funny that you mention the Uncharted games because I was recently planning to buy Drake's Deception after seeing it on sale. It's a series that I've always wanted to play through but just haven't found the time yet. I've had copies of Drake's Fortune and Among Thieves for quite awhile.
I've played the first few hours of Uncharted 1, and I had a mixed first impression. I'd prefer more of a focus on exploration and less on gunning down waves of enemies. I'm already aware that the 2nd and 3rd games are (supposedly) far superior to the first though.

Maybe I can buy a used one very cheap in 2013 after the next gen consoles are released?

I Am Alive was released for PC yesterday. It's a post-apocalyptic survival game in the same vein as The Last of Us.
I tried the PS3 demo a few months back and it seemed pretty good. It's not a big budget game, and the graphics are a bit below par, but it's only $15. Might be worth checking out for fans of the setting.

I guess I should apologize for not being an Ubisoft fanboy.
