Grimoire Kickstarter

I was going through old links tonight, I saw Grimoire and thought 'What the heck'. I clicked the link and what materialized before my eyes? The threat… ahem… I mean announcement of a Grimoire Kickstarter campaign!
As much as I would like to play this game and as much as would hope it would be good, a Grimoire Kickstarter campaign would verge on being an outright con-job considering the history of the game. I guess he has every right to do it, but I hope uniformed people don't get burned.
