Can i buy premium edition ps3 games from another region?

I wish to purchase battlefield 3 premium edition through ebay. There is a seller a Hong Kong (sellers here are theives!) and he seems cool. Problem is that i heard while ps3 games are not region locked, the DLCs are. The premium has 5 DLCs, and since i am in the EU region i dont know if itll work. I dont even know if the game is EU or Asia or Japan region at all.

Anyone knows how do i check it?
