Well I'm not sorry to see them go, but I find the Ubi M&M universe a bit sterile in comparison to the slightly goofy everything-and-the-kitchen-sink fantasy of the NWC era.

Agree Gan Anim. JVC had a great imagination back in the day. He needs to do drugs again or whatever he did back then because he should Kickstart a RPG or a strategy game like HoMM.

Last I heard JVC was managing the C&C series 
The charm of the classics is difficult to recapture. Eador: Masters of the Broken World and Space Rangers 2 is the closest I've got in (relatively) recent years and they're not ever RPGS.
