Over the past few years, I've been enjoying a game called eRepublik. It is a social strategy MMO, that allows you to become President of your country, by being voted in by other players. It has a big player base of over 100,000 I believe. More recently, I've come across a new game called WorldAlpha that has some of the same elements, but seems to be a big improvement. It is still in closed beta, but should be releasing sometime in the spring. You can find it here at http://www.worldalpha.com

I've tried eRepublik a few years ago and stopped after a few days.
Why? I wanted to pwn as a baker from Albania but the game didn't allow that option for whatever reason.

Over years I've played ogame, travian, imperion (beta), the west, forge of empires, etc and IMO all of them are superior to eRepublik.

Ya, eRepublik is a little limited. I'm finding with WorldAlpha there are a lot more types of jobs and a bigger economy. So, it is more enjoyable in terms of social strategy MMOs. I enjoyed the last beta that just finished, and look forward to the next one the end of February.

I'm playing both of them :D while erepublik game has been on for quite sometimes (3 years or more I think), WorldAlpha is only 3 months old. There are still a lot of possibilities that you can find in this game. And for the community, we have a chat room where EGE (Earth Galactic Empire) usually chat. And it's usually crowded and really fun.

So I think you all should experience WorldAlpha yourself :D
