New AAA Open World LOTR RPG in development

"Resurrected by a spirit of vengeance" doesn't sound very lore friendly. But I'll hold judgement.

Like LOTR - The Third Age (and various other LOTR iterations) then. Pretty good game. Gave me my LOTR fix better than, say, LOTRO. Add an open or semi-open world to it and I'm happy.

I have mixed thoughts.

I like the sound of the "nemesis" system and that it's open world.

I dislike the background behind it. It's just not in term with the lore of LOTR.

Hopefully it'll have good enough gameplay merits to stand on them. I liked War in the North but after playing through three times, it becomes boring so hopefully this'll be the LOTR RPG that'll keep people coming back to it due to a immersive world.
