Fantsy Kommander

I saw this a while back, but only found out now it was released a few weeks back. Probably more of a strategy than rpg. Has anyone played it? Reminds me of fantasy general from SSI.

Are you sure this wasn't released in 2001.

I think it's a remade from some previous version, funded by a kickstarter. According to the site it was released 16 October 2013.

I was on indiegogo but it got only 1.1k, publisher is Slitherine so I assume they covered most of development costs.

Looks fun, I'll definitely get it if it ever gets in a Steam sale

Knowing Slitherine/Matrix, this won't see a steam release. They like to sell their games at a high price point on their own websites, without any decent sales. Their logic seem to be that as long as they can target a niche audience, they can sell their games at a high price, because people don't have anywhere else to go if they want games like that. They must really hate Paradox for selling similar games, but at a far lower price point (not saying similar to this one, but similar to some of their games).

Man awsome Fantasy General is one of my all time favorites going to check it out.
