Behold! An offscreen video of our 25 minute Styx: Master of Shadows gameplay presentation by lead level designer Julien Desourteaux. We apologie for the background noise. We're blaming Amazon Prime for not delivering our new mic on time.

This looks better than what I've seen from thief, but I do like 3rd person better than first so maybe that plays into it a bit.

Reminds me I need to go back and finish that game. Among several others.

I was thinking about giving the game a go once again myself. I still remember the ending left the door open for more games. I guess this game ties into it somehow.

Still, I liked Of Orcs and Mens and it had a weird perspective (pro Orcs and Goblins). I look forward to another game in this world.

And can anyone honestly say there was anything in that video preview that looked like it even required skill? Let alone provided a challenge?
It (Orcs and Men) won't take long to finish - I put in 19 hours and I typically take 2 to 3 times longer than most gamers. I think a lot of folks were saying it took them 10 hours.

It looks easy with all those toggles etc but the level design looks great and the enemy design is even better. I should give Of Orcs and Men a chance.

Combat seems too unrealistic. Even if he is a master assassin, large humanoids ought to put up a lot more fight. Especially the armored guards. But as soon as the assassin touches them, they collapse like ragdolls. Also climbing is unrealistic. Gravity seems to be of the Moon.
